Life is simple, you win it, or lose it. There is no other possibility.
It's hard enough to survive alone, to take care of your own,
you try to be someone else
and arrogance is your biggest shield & nevertheless,
we are willing to suffer, to die for the things we care about.
It's a losing game & without passion you are already dead.
& nevertheless there are sunrays over and over again,
they break through the clouds
and shine on your empty dug up grave. Love.
She has brought me here, to this moment of clarity,
where time slows down, and I choose to look back,
to see myself & put away my shield.
Love can help you to continue this game, to win.
But not everyone has the chance to feel that &
some don't want to feel it again,
because they put away their shield too often &
give up the play, lose.
You fall in your empty grave & your thoughts circle in this moment.
Einstein was right: Time is relative to the observer.
Time slows down, your whole life flashes by, heartbreak and scars.
It's a game which you can only lose.
